Why is the spirit of the Lord Yahweh upon him?
The spirit is upon him because Yahweh has annointed him [61:1]
What has Yahweh sent him to do?
Yahweh has sent him to proclaim good news to the humble, to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to open the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the year of Yahweh's favor, the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and to glorify Yahweh [61:1; 61:3]
