when I set fire in Egypt

all of her helpers are destroyed

Alternate translation: "I destroy all of the allies of Egypt" or "I break all those who help Egypt." (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-activepassive)

messengers will go out from before me in ships

"I will send out people in ships to do what I want them to do" or "I will send out people in ships to give my message to Cush." Yahweh will send people to destroy Cush so that the people of Cush will understand his message that only Yahweh is God.

to terrorize a secure Cush

Alternate translation: "so that they will make Cush afraid, even though Cush thinks that it is safe from danger."

there will be anguish among them in the day of Egypt's doom

"the people of Cush will also have great pain when I punish Egypt"

Behold

The word “behold” here adds emphasis to what follows. It can also be translated as “Indeed.”

It is coming

"It" refers to the "great pain" or "great sorrow" that Cush will have when they are punished along with Egypt.
