## We have heard ##

## your faith in Christ Jesus ##

## your faith…you have…for you ##
"you" refers to the Colossian believers. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-pluralpronouns]])
## of the love that you have for all those ##
"that you love all those" (UDB)
## set apart for God ##
This means to be pure or free from sin and useful for God. AT: "saints".
## because of the confident expectation reserved in heaven ##
"which is the result of your sure hope of what God has kept in heaven".

“hope that you hold firmly”
## bearing fruit and is growing ##
This metaphor compares a tree or plant that produces food and grows to the gospel which changes people and spreads throughout the world as many more people believe it. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
## in all the world ##
This is a hyperbole. The gospel is spreading and growing throughout the known world. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-hyperbole]])
## the grace of God in truth ##
"the true grace of God" or "the true favor of God".
