This means to be pure or free from sin and useful for God. AT: "saints".
because of the confident expectation reserved in heaven

This is a hyperbole. The gospel is spreading and growing throughout the known world. (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-hyperbole)
the grace of God in truth
"the true grace of God" or "the true favor of God".
