In this verse, Jesus is quoting the prophet Malachi and saying that John is the messenger of which Malachi spoke.
before your face

I say to you

among those born of women

none is greater than John
"John is the greatest"
the one who is least in the kingdom of God
This refers to anyone who is part of the kingdom that God will establish.
is greater than he is
