## This is so that we should ##
"Then we will"
## be like children ##
This is comparing a believer who has not grown spiritually to a child who has had very little experience in life. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
## tossed around and carried away by every wind of teaching ##
This metaphor compares a believer who has not become mature and hears wrong teaching to a boat that is being blown by the wind in random directions on the water. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
## by the trickery of people in the cleverness of erring deceit ##
"by crafty people who trick believers with clever lies"
## Rather we will speak ##
"Instead we will speak"
## into him who is the head...in the body's growth ##
This is a metaphor using the human body to describe how Christ causes believers to work together in harmony like the head of a body causes the body parts to work together to grow healthy. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
## for the building up of each one in love ##
"so believers can help each other grow in love"
