Strangers will make their homes in Ashdod

"Foreigners will take over Ashdod and live there"

I will cut off the pride of the Philistines

Here "cut off" is an idiom that means to stop their pride. AT: "I will make the Philistines to be proud of themselves no longer" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-idiom)

I will remove their blood from their mouths and their abominations from between their teeth

Here "blood" refers to meat with blood in it, and "abominations" refers to meat offered to idols. The UDB makes this explicit. AT: "I will no longer allow them to eat meat that still has blood in it, and I will forbid them to eat food that they offered to idols" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-explicit)
