The prophets and the priests treat the sins of the people of Israel as though they were a small wound. AT: "as though it were not serious." (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor)

Peace! Peace! when there is no peace

"'All is well! All is well!' but it is not well"

Were they ashamed when they committed abominations?

"They committed terrible sins, and they were not ashamed" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-rquestion)

They were not ashamed at all, they did not experience any humility

These two sentences have similar meanings. The second one strengthens the thought in the first. (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-parallelism) "they were not ashamed of what they did"

will fall

will be overthrown

"will stumble." AT: "will perish" or "will lose their power and become helpless."
