## the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God ##

The word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is to be used to fight against and defend the believer from the devil just as a soldier uses his sword to fight and defend against enemy attacks. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])

## through every prayer and request praying at all times in the Spirit ##
|
|
|
