# He led his people out ... his chosen with shouts of triumph

These two phrases have basically the same meaning and are used together to emphasize that God's people were joyful when he led them out of Egypt. The people were shouting joyfully. AT: "He led his chosen people out with shouts of joy and triumph" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-parallelism]])
