General Information:
This is 7:1, the first verse of chapter seven, in some versions. The ULB understands this to be the friends and the woman talking to each other. Some versions understand this to be the man speaking to the woman.
Turn back ... gaze on you
Possible interpretations are 1) the friends are speaking to the woman or 2) the man is referring to himself in plural. (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-pronouns)

"Come back, come back." This is repeated for emphasis.
we may gaze
Some versions understand the plural to refer to the man speaking of himself. AT: "I may gaze" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-pronouns)
gaze
look intently for a long time
Why do you gaze on the perfect woman ... armies
Possible interpretations are 1) the woman refers to herself as another person and is speaking to the friends or 2) the woman is speaking to the man as if he were many men. (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-pronouns)
as if on the dance between two armies
"as if she were dancing between two armies"
