These verses continue the message of Wisdom.
Whoever disciplines ... whoever rebukes
These two phrases basically say the same thing. (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-parallelism)
a mocker
Someone who habitually mocks people. AT: "someone who says insulting things about other people" or "someone who likes to make other people look bad"
receives abuse
"receives harsh treatment"
whoever rebukes
"whoever corrects"
Do not reprove
"Do not correct"
Give to a wise person, and he ... teach a righteous person, and he
These two commands actually represent conditional statements. AT: "If you give to a wise person, he ... if you teach a righteous person, he"
