# Connecting Statement:

This is the list of things that Yahweh hates that was introduced in [Proverbs 6:16](./16.md).
|
|
|
|
# eyes ... tongue ... hands ... heart ... feet
|
|
|
|
All of these body parts refer to a whole person. You can translate each of these with "people." (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-synecdoche]])

|

"kill" or "murder"
|
|

|
|
|
|
"evil plans"
|
|
|
|
