# Connecting Statement:

This begins the account of Jesus celebrating the Passover with his disciples.
|

|
|
# Now
|
|
|
|
This word is used here to mark a break in the main story line. Here Matthew starts to tell a new part of the story.
|
|
|
|
# He said, "Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples."'"
|
|
|
|
This has quotations within quotations. You can state some of the direct quotations as indirect quotations. AT: "He told his disciples to go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the Teacher says to him, 'My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.'" or "He told his disciples to go into the city to a certain man and say to him that the Teacher's time is at hand and he will keep the Passover with his disciples at that man's house."
