# Connecting Statement:

Jesus begins to teach about how he has come to fulfill the Old Testament law.

# truly I say to you
|
|
|
|
"I tell you the truth." This phrase adds emphasis to what Jesus says next.

|
|
|

|
|
|
|

# all things have been accomplished
