Isaiah continues describing Yahweh's servant. (See: Isaiah 53:1-2)
He was oppressed

"Mouth" represents what a person says. Opening one's mouth means to speak. AT: "he did not protest" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metonymy)
as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent
