Paul went to synagogues to find Jews who believed in Jesus.
the blood of Stephen your witness was spilled
Here "blood" stands for Stephen's life. To spill blood means to kill. This can be stated in active form. AT: "they killed Stephen who testified about you" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metonymy and rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-activepassive)
