Paul was made an apostle by to the commandment of God.
Timothy was Paul’s true son in the faith.
He urged Timothy to remain in Ephesus.
He was to command them not to teach differently.
The goal of his commandment was love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.
The law is for lawless, rebellious, ungodly people, and sinners.
Paul was a blasphemer, persecutor, and a violent man.
The grace of our Lord overflowed with faith and love to Paul.
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
God gave Paul mercy so that Jesus could demonstrate his patience in Paul as an example.
Paul tells Timothy to fight the good fight.
These people have shipwrecked regarding the faith.
Paul gave them over to Satan so that they may be taught not to blaspheme.
Paul requests prayers be made for all people.
Paul desires that Christians be allowed to live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Christ Jesus is the one mediator between God and man.
Christ Jesus gave himself as a ransom for all.
Paul is a teacher of the Gentiles.
Paul wants men to pray and lift up holy hands.
Paul wants women to dress modestly and with self-control.
Paul does not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man.
Paul’s first reason is that Adam was formed first.

Paul wants women to continue in faith and love and sanctification with self-control.
The work of an overseer is good work.
An overseer must be able to teach.
An overseer must not be a drunkard, and must not love money.
An overseer’s children must obey and honor him.
It is important because if he cannot manage his household well, he will likely not care well for a church.
The danger is that he will be puffed up and fall into condemnation.
An overseer must have a good reputation with those outside the church.
Before they serve, deacons should be tested.
Godly women are dignified, not slanderers, sober, and trustworthy in everything.
The household of God is the church of the living God.
Jesus was proclaimed among nations, believed in the world, and taken up in glory.
Some people will leave the faith and attend to deceiving spirits and the teachings of demons.
They will forbid marriage and forbid eating some foods.
Anything we eat is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Paul tells Timothy to train himself in godliness.
Training in godliness is more profitable because it holds promise for this present life and the coming one.
Paul exhorts Timothy to command and teach these things.
Timothy is to be an example in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
The gift was given to Timothy through prophecy, with the imposition of the hands of the elders.
Timothy will save both himself and his listeners.
Paul told Timothy to exhort him as if he were a father.
Children and grandchildren should repay their parents and take care of her.
He has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
A widow should be attested for good works.
These younger widows will later want to marry.
Paul wants younger women to marry, to bear children, and to manage a household.
Elders who lead well should be considered worthy of double honor.
There must be two or three witnesses when someone accuses an elder.
Paul commands Timothy to be careful to keep these rules without favoritism.
The sins of some people are evident, but the sins of others are not known until the judgment.
Paul said that slaves should regard their masters as worthy of all honor.
The person who rejects healthy words and godly teaching is puffed up and understands nothing.
Paul says that godliness with contentment is great gain.
We have brought nothing into the world and cannot take anything out.
We should be satisfied that we have food and clothing.
Those who desire to become wealthy fall into temptation and a trap.
The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
Some who have loved money have been led away from the faith.
Paul says Timothy must fight the good fight of the faith.
God dwells in unapproachable light.
The rich should hope in God because he provides us with everything that we enjoy.
Those who are rich in good works store up for themselves a good foundation and grasp genuine life.
Paul tells Timothy to guard what has been entrusted to him.
